Mom admiring their newborn baby during an in-home session in Tennessee.

Maryville Newborn Photographer

Because your baby is only this tiny for about five minutes.

One day you'll miss the way they fit perfectly on your chest.

Not in a dramatic "don't blink or you'll miss it" kind of way. More in a "wait... when did they get so big?" kind of way.

Those first few weeks are a blur of coffee, laundry, feeding schedules you can't remember, and staring at your baby for no reason other than they're ridiculously cute.

That's what I want to photograph.

Not perfection.

Not a baby who sleeps on command.

Not a house that looks like a Pinterest board.

Just your family exactly as you are right now.

So... what if my baby cries the whole time?

Then we take photos of a baby who cries.

Seriously.

I've yet to meet a newborn who showed up with a modeling contract and a detailed understanding of my shot list.

We'll stop for feedings, diaper changes, outfit changes, snack breaks for siblings, and whatever else needs to happen. The session follows your baby, not the other way around.

What does a newborn session actually look like?

Honestly? Pretty relaxed.

We'll hang out in the brightest rooms of your home, snuggle the baby, let older siblings be themselves, and capture all those little moments you don't realize you'll miss someday.

The way their fingers wrap around yours.

The fuzzy hair on their shoulders.

The way your toddler is obsessed with their new baby brother for exactly three minutes before running away.

The good stuff.

When should I book?

The best time is while you're still pregnant.

We'll pencil in your due date, and once baby decides to make their grand entrance, we'll choose the actual session date.

Whether baby arrives early, late, or completely ignores everyone's plans, we'll make it work.
